“Art is not what you see, but what you make other see”

Edgar Degas

Based in beautiful Albemarle  County, Virginia,  I am an impressionist painter deeply rooted in the local arts community.  I serve as the vice president and exhibiting member of Charlottesville’s BozArt Fine Arts Collective, and I am an exhibiting member of the James River Art League in Richmond, VA.  I founded and continue to organize the Charlottesville Plein Air Painters and serve on the art committee for Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.  Nationally I  am a proud member of the American Impressionist Society and National Oil and Acrylic Painters.   I regularly exhibit in group and solo shows in Charlottesville and Richmond.

My inspiration to create my oil or acrylic impressionistic landscapes and seascapes comes from my travels abroad and within our lovely state.  Whether I’m exploring the picturesque hills of Central Virginia, admiring the vastness of the Chesapeake Bay, or journeying to distant locales, I keep my camera close to capture every memorable view.

Contact me to reserve your favorite oil or acrylic painting, or to inquire about commissions. My pieces are on-of-a-kind, so don’t miss your chance to own a unique artwork.
